We always recommend ordering a gown six months before the wedding date to allow time for alterations if necessary. It gives enough time for customization and shipping! However, if the date is near, have no fear! You can always purchase something off the rack from our many incredible designers if you need a dress sooner rather than later. When it comes to fittings, make sure that the last fitting for your dress is two weeks ahead of the wedding date. This makes sure that your gown is perfect for the big day!
It might be tempting to search for accessories before your dress arrives, but we advise against that. It really helps to see the dress on before committing to any shoes or jewelry. If you buy your dress off the rack, that works out perfectly to choose accessories at the same time! You want to make sure that all of your accessories perfectly complement the dress you choose.
