The couple tied the knot on September 27 in Santa Barbara, CA, in a stunning three-day event packed with A-listers, and we’re still swooning over the photos shared on Selena’s Instagram. The internet was ablaze with infatuation over her gorgeous Ralph Lauren dresses - and yes, she wore not one, not two, but three gorgeous gowns on her wedding day!
The first gown we saw online was her custom Ralph Lauren high neck wedding dress that was the perfect combination of contemporary bridal fashion with a touch of classic romanticism. The gown was crafted with double-faced silk satin and boasted a macrame collar embellished with 3D embroidery that exposed her shoulders and fell to the lower back. It flowed into a wide skirt that ended in a gorgeous rounded train.
The second gown, another by Ralph Lauren, had the same halter neckline as the previous dress but was decorated with hundreds of lace flowers molded and applied by hand. This gown took over 200 hours to create! The gown hugged her curves beautifully and featured a small heart embroidered between the lace with the initials “S + B” and their wedding date. This boudoir style wedding dress was just breathtaking!
The third Ralph Lauren gown Selena wore was another halter design but differed with its criss cross double neckline that framed the bust beautifully. It was a simpler design than the previous two, but no less breathtaking. It was ankle length and made from lightweight tulle with hand pleated and stitched panels of silk, cotton, and linen. It was a Marilyn Monroe style midi dress that featured a circle skirt, perfect for dancing.
