Shop History & Philosophy
Elegance Wedding & Evening Wear started in September 2000 at its present location in Highland, Indiana. Owner Charlott Sitarski, after working in several different shops, decided to open a bridal salon of her own. She felt there was a strong need for a bridal shop that would cater to brides’ needs and a stronger sense of customer service.
Two years after her bridal salon opened, Charlott got married. With a degree in fashion design, she designed her own wedding gown. Charlott continues to do much of the sewing assisted by seamstresses that she has on staff.
An Experienced Staff
Elegance has a knowledgeable sales staff of 10 members. They all work closely with each other and all of the customers to provide an enthusiastic shopping experience. They have a great respect for each bride that comes into the store. Our main goal is to give outstanding customer service to everyone in the bridal party. We are verse on fabrics, beading, and any extra costs to provide our brides with the knowledge and education they need to be comfortable in purchasing from our store.
“One Stop Shop”
Elegance Wedding & Evening Wear offers a full service experience. We carry everything from the gown and accessories for the bride, and her bridal party. We also carry mom’s dresses, tuxedo rentals, invitations, and bridal party gift items. We are a “one stop shop.”
We carry many designers for our brides, such as Maggie Sottero, Casablanca, Mori Lee, and Enzoani, just to name a few.
